DJ Veronica - DJ Veronica Events

British-born DJ Veronica began her DJ career in 1997 when she started a weekly live DJ 7-hour House Music Radio in Vancouver featuring local Vancouver DJs on a show called Loose Change.

Her technical skills, programming ability and stage presence catapulted Veronica into the Vancouver DJ scene very quickly, opening for DJs such as David Alvarado, DJ Rhiannon, Armand Van Helden, Lawnchair Generals, Trevor Walker, DJ Preston, Peaches and RUN DMC.

DJ Veronica has played both locally at almost every venue in Vancouver and Whistler, as well as internationally in such places as New York, Spain, Australia, USA, and Asia.

DJ Veronica has made numerous appearances on MTV Canada as well as being a special guest DJ on the Vancouver-based Shopping Bags TV show and HGTV’s House Hunters International.

DJ Veronica’s music is venue-dependent and she consistently displays a vast musical knowledge and enthusiasm which is contagious to all who hear her music.

Not only did I hire DJ Veronica for my wedding, I actually flew her down to Mexico to do it; it was a destination wedding. After attending several weddings in the past where she was DJing and having been a fan of hers back in the early 2000s at nightclubs, I couldn’t imagine having anyone other than her DJ at my own wedding.

She handled the music for the ceremony, the dinner, dancing, and she organized the sound for speeches too. It was seamless, effortless (on my part) and everyone danced all night. There was a big pile of ladies shoes at the side of the dance floor which was pretty hilarious. We actually had an incident whereby the officiant was not prepared (she had the wrong vows) and Veronica had music to play right then that fit perfectly at a time that would have otherwise been very awkward. If you want someone who is fun, energetic, thinks on her feet, and plays the best music (pick a genre, she nails it), then hire this woman!!

I hired DJ Veronica many years ago for a Christmas event at Richmond Centre called “Believe”, which I’m proud to say ended up winning awards for our marketing campaign. DJ Veronica planned the music for the event and it was truly magical. Last year, I had the pleasure of attending a destination wedding in Mexico and we were very fortunate to have none other than DJ Veronica at this wedding! It was awesome! We were so excited!!!
